Vision
To become a leading contributor of professional golfers from previously disadvantaged communities
The South African Social Golf League - SASGL
The South African Social Golf League (SASGL) was established in 2020 to contribute to the development of talent, particularly in under serviced communities across the length and breadth of the country.
The long term vision of SASGL is to add value by growing the number of black professional golfers in the mainstream national and international flagship championships, thereby raising the country’s share of talented professionals.
The organisation works with some of the country’s established golf entities to identify, nature, and develop young talent in the sport. It also works to put these talented young leaders through a youth program of Social Golf League, which aims to foster competition and reward excellence.
The South African Social Golf League is a Non-Profit Organisation with a section 18a donations tax exemption status.
To become a leading contributor of professional golfers from previously disadvantaged communities
The SASGL is committed to the development of the sport through the provision of training programmes involving young talent and the provision of access to competitive golf programmes that further enhance the professional acumen of golfers, preparing them for national and international flagship championships.
